Excellent
A really welcoming country house hotel where you can feel at home. Great food and easy access in a stunning valley near Aberystwyth.
Excellent
The access to the hotel and inside was superb. Access to the front door was by ramp (or wo steps for walkers). Access to the ground floor was flat, no steps or difficult thresholds. Floors were polished stone, slat in some corridors and wood and carpeting in the main rooms. Access to the disabled access room was by an automatic door which triggered lights at night. This meant my husband could come and go independently.
Excellent
Flat fine gravelled parking immediately in front of the hotel. When we checked in, we were given a dedicated parking space in the courtyard next to our room, The access to this was by a gravelled road, which was a little bumpy on the turn - at least for my WAV which can ground on bumps! The parking was flat and a paved path to our room made transferring all our equipment easy.
Excellent
We only used the room facilities, but there was a disabled access loo. Our bathroom in our room was just great. The room had plenty of space for both powerchair and hoist. The loo had grab rails on each side, two sinks, one at seated height, the other at standing height. Taps were large lever action, easy to use. The wet room shower had two shower heads, one fixed, the other adjustable. A shower chair was supplied. The floor was non slip ceramic, and warm to touch.
Excellent
Everyone was really helpful and welcoming, with intelligent and appropriate help offered. We felt we couldask for anything we needed.
