Good
Wide open spaces, flat surfaces and so much to see and learn about. It feels like a lot of thought has gone into making the Museum of Flight accessible for everyone to enjoy. I would have said "excellent" if not for the accessible loos.
Disabled Access In and Around

The museum is quite expansive. There are a lot of flat surfaces to get around on. And in places where you can see it would have been easier to have stairs - the museum has installed long flat ramps. There were several automatic doors on the larger hangers. The smaller buildings aren't adaptable for automatic doors - the buildings are very much how they were during wartime.

There are a lot of accessible parking bays, clearly marked. And what is nice is that there are accessible bays outside of the main hangars (in addition to the Concorde Experience hangar) so if needed you can drive around to the main exhibits to get in easier.

I went into two accessible loos (one in the Concorde Experience and the one at the gift shop; there is a third in Fantastic Flight but I didn't check it out). Both were impeccably clean and had all the features you need. However, because they are doubling up as baby change areas - the nappy bins are stored in the transfer space. Concorde Experience accessible loo: transfer space blocked; emergency cord cannot be reached from the ground as it was wedged behind the nappy bin (I moved the bin out of the way); the white grab rails don't make great contrast against the white walls. Gift Shop accessible loo: transfer space blocked by bins; push button to flush is difficult for many (handle flushes on same side as transfer space is ideal); and again the contrast of the grab rails is not great. All this means you can't use the toilet independently. After encountering the problem, you have to go and find someone to move the bin out of the way for you. So give yourself plenty of time if you want to use the loo (like everyone else does) as you can't use it independently.

Additional Information
I visited on a Wednesday during school term - so it wasn't too busy at all and I had a peaceful and relaxed experience. I appreciate they do have some big public events throughout the year.
