As far as parking goes, I appreciated not having to use any lifts or wrestle any fire doors to access the car park, but unfortunately, while well-signed, the electric vehicle charging points were quite inaccessible to someone who uses a wheelchair. There are two 2 Type 2 22kW charging points without an integrated cable on the ground floor and possibly two more on other levels. My favourite part was not the car park at all, but that it led me to explore the area and find the Monk Bridge Viaduct Garden!

Disabled Access In and Around

The entrance to the car park is level and step-free, but there are no lowered curbs on the opposite side of the road to cross, so make sure to be on the side of the car park (right if you are coming from the main street) as soon as you can. There are lowered curbs on that side that have a little bit of a bump, but also tactile markings. The electric vehicle charging points are around to the left when you enter the car park. There is not enough space between or to the side of the bays to get out or around to the back where the charge point is if you are using a wheelchair or a rollator. The terminal is mounted to the outside wall/slats in the middle of the two parking spots and it is too high up to reach from a seated position, especially the card reader.

The car park is at the edge of the city centre and about a ten or fifteen minute walk away from Leeds station. There are bus stops close by on Wellington Street (14. 33, 34, 42, 55, 55C, 60/A Aireline, 65, 75, 81, A1 Flyer). It's close to some nice green spaces along the canal and river Aire.
