Overview

This walk makes the perfect dayout and show cases the varied and beautiful Dorset countryside. The long ribbon of tarmac is ideal for dog walkers, cyclists and wheelchair or mobility scooters for longer routes.

Transport & Parking

We parked at the Stour Meadows Park (car park) which has plenty of accessible parking and the surrounding park is very flat with short routes around the park and over the River Stour. You can also park in the Station Court Car Park which is actually on the trail and would prevent the need to get through Blandford Forum town and up a relatively steep hill
