The theatre offers regular accessible performances for the Deaf community. We tend to book for the BSL interpreted performances but captioned performances are also available. The theatre are very helpful on booking, ensuring that the seats have a good view of the interpreter and these seats are also discounted for deaf visitors. The theatre has a member of front of house staff with fluent BSL on duty during accessible performances which is great. The Pantomime was fantastic as always and the interpreter was also excellent, signing was clear and easy to follow and he really captured the mood and musicality of the show. What was great was to see local Deaf children chosen to help on stage during the sing song slot, with BSL support if needed, nice to see a theatre getting it right.

Excellent
All staff were very friendly and helpful. Box office staff always willing to find seats with best view of interpreter or captions. Sophie can sign fluently meaning that there is someone working front of house who can communicate with Deaf visitors.
