Overview
This is a relaxed space where you can while away the time with friends or sit and read a book on your own whilst dining or just having a drink. There are plenty of games and toys on offer for everyone to use from babies upwards though I can't see many people completing a 1,000 piece jigsaw in one sitting! The food is really tasty and there are a huge range of all sorts of drinks available.
Transport & Parking
This is in the centre of Basildon Town Centre so very easy to get to by any sort of transport. Parking nearby in the car park behind the cinema. Not far from the bus and train station.
Access
There is an upstairs mezzanine dining area which is accessed from East Walk but has steps to it so not accessible for those with mobility problems. There is plenty of space downstairs however and lots of room between tables. A large gentle ramp leads down to the main dining area from the Town Square.
Toilets
The disabled toilet is situated at the back of the main downstairs dining area and is easily accessible. The other toilets are to the other side at the back and round a corner.
Staff
The staff are very welcoming. You seat yourself where you like though we had booked as there were 9 of us and a powerchair. You order at the bar and it was very efficient and friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is a very community minded space where they welcome groups and have a busy community noticeboard.
