Fantastic camping site with disabled facilities

Excellent
Fantastic site and very friendly, helpful staff. We were so impressed with the disabled facilities. We were given the pitch next to the toilet block where there was a separate accessible toilet. This had a shower in with a drop down seat and ample handrails. The shower/toilet room also had a heater to turn on, which really helped! The shop/cafe is accessible via a ramp and the ground is lovely and flat, with tarmac roads leading around the site, for each rolling in a wheelchair. There was a lovely child’s play park, that our 5 year old son loved. Really lovely place to stay and we will definitely return.

Free parking with each pitch and the pitch size was plenty big enough. We went with our car and big box trailer that my electric wheelchair travels in. Our pitch had enough space for car, trailer, tent, table and still room to spare. The site isn’t jam packed so lots of free space to move around.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
To use the disabled loo, the owners require a £5 refundable deposit and they will give a key to the loo/shower. This was great as meant it wasn’t being used by anyone other than disabled people as it’s meant for.
Staff
Excellent
So friendly and so helpful. Couldn’t do enough to help. Interacted with our son and remembered his name. Served great food in the cafe and nice selection in shop.
