Peaceful site with excellent facilities

We stayed here for three nights to explore Anglesey. It is a beautiful site, very peaceful and they were keen to pitch us near to the facilities block. They even have a marked accessible pitch, though it is still gravel surface.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
With the only exception of the gravel pitches, which I find difficult in my manual chair, everything else was excellent. The facilities block has a ramp up and all doors are nice and wide, with level access throughout. I didn't use the elsan point as hubby does it when we are together. The roads around the site are tarmac and there are small speed humps every now and then. It is a little hilly in places but not a problem for me. There is a designated dog walk, which is really a secure field. It's grass but with an off-road chair, should be fine.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We arrived by motorhome and on arrival, pulled up in the marked arrivals bay. This is right opposite reception, which has ramped entry. The site has a one way system for driving round and most pitches have plenty of room to manoevre.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
The accessible toilet and shower is excellent! Well laid out and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for my assistance dog to work with me. She's completely familiar now with how campsite facilities work and knows how to help me get showered and dressed. I always appreciate facilities that have somewhere dry for her to wait while I shower. Penrhos is great for that!

Excellent
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. They had read the note on my booked and allocated us the accessible pitch.
