Overall Rating
Good
I quite literally rolled into Pink Lane when I was in the area. I'd heard great things about their baking and had to try it. And honestly, it might have been the best pastry I've ever had.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There is a slope leading down to the entrance. The manual door was pinned open during my visit. It provided enough space for a manual wheelchair to pass through, but larger chairs will need both doors to be open. There is a small lip at the entrance, but I was able to bump over it easily. The service area is small, so I was able to see what I wanted to order. There is no lowered counter, but there was plenty of room to move around and speak with staff. This location is takeaway only.
Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
Average
I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
There are regular bus services on the nearby High Street and on Church Road. There are no parking facilities at the shop. There are a handful of standard parking spaces outside Gosforth Fire Station, a fireplace store just at the entrance to the lane. One is painted yellow, but it definitely isn't spacious enough to be considered accessible.
Accessible Toilets
There are no toilets at this venue.
Staff
