Overall Rating
Good
Accessibility at Popeyes is pretty decent, though they seem to prefer customers to order at the self-service terminals. I've only eaten here a few times, but I was content with what I had. It's definitely my preference over the other American fried chicken chain.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
As the store is open-plan, there are no doors to navigate and the self-service tills are accessible from a seated height, with an access function that lowers the display. Orders are collected from the counter when ready, but I've found staff to be proactive in offering to bring my food to me, which is a nice touch. There are no alternative formats in use.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
The shopping centre has multiple car parks, including a multi-storey. EV chargers are available, but they are far from accessible. Braehead bus station is just outside and offers handy links to and from the city.
Accessible Toilets
There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet with baby changing facilities in the upper foyer of the shopping centre. And one on the lower floor in the corridor near Five Guys. There is also a Changing Places toilet in Braehead Shopping Centre, on the upper level within the baby changing area. You will need to use the phone beside the door to contact the team, who will arrange for it to be opened.
