Excellent
Lovely cafe on the sea front. We managed to grab a sea view table. My cousins took me here when I was in Edinburgh. She said it was the quieter part of Portobello beach and the cafe is on the corner with King's Road. We had a great time, nice food, step free access and an accessible toilet.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
There is step free access throughout. There are manual double doors at the entrance and step free entrance. The cafe is on the ground floor with free standing tables and chairs, and some fixed long sofas. There is plenty of space between tables.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We got a bus from Prince's Street and the nearest bus stop to the cafe is Portobello Town Hall. From there it is a short, level walk to the sea front and the cafe.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
The accessible toilet is at the rear of the cafe. It's in a corridor with other toilets. There is a manual door. It is quite spacious with a right hand side transfer. There are plenty of grab rails and an emergency cord that reaches towards the floor. The toilet was clean, tidy and well maintained.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were lovely and friendly. Service was quick and helpful.
Additional Information
The cafe is in a lovely spot, food was nice and definitely would very happily return again.
