Excellent
Very accessible hotel just a stone’s throw from the centre of the holiday village of Aviemore. I had a spacious adapted room with a good sized bathroom. I chose a room with a lowered bath, but next time i would choose a room with a wet room as the bath was a bit narrow for me. Only minor quibble was the corridor door which opens with a Key card & would have been difficult for me to open by myself. Make sure you two key cards if you have a carer with you who needs access to your room! Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
My room was on the ground floor & was fairly easy to access, there was also a lift to upper floors. Everything on the ground floor was level access including the restaurant.
Parking & Transport
Good
There were three disabled parking spaces. Unfortunately one of them was taken up by a white BMW with no blue badge for most of our stay so sometimes we had to park in the main car park. Staff tried to help with this but could not locate the driver.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
There was an accessible toilet in the reception area but I mostly used the one in my room which was really great & had grab rails & a wheelchair height sink
