Overview

Before we booked the hotel on-line we rang to ask if the room had a roll in shower as it wasn't clear on-line. The staff were very friendly and very helpful even explained about their limited parking so we arrived early to get a bay.

Transport & Parking

I would say if you are going to stay here arrive early as parking is limited.

Access

Access from the car park is fine to the reception desk. We stayed on the ground floor and you had to go through two doors before getting to the room door. Both doors you had to swipe your room card to access the halls which I could not have done on my own.

Toilets

I only used the toilet in our room which was a big room with a roll in shower. If we didn't have our own shower commode chair I would not have been able to use the toilet or shower. The photos will tell you why.

Staff

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Even with a mobile hoist you could not access the bed as it was too close to the floor. I ended up sleeping in my wheelchair as I do or expect to do when staying for a one night stay. It is sad that more hotels do not have a ceiling track hoist. A lovely big shower room and toilet but no thought went into the layout. Doc M standards was not used for the toilet and the wash hand basin was not even in the centre for easy access.
