Overall Rating

Good

Best features were undercover access bays just outside the door, good size twin room and good size bathroom. Lift from car park/front straight up to the room floors. Beds were soft and we fitted my pro pad mattress and pillow lift equipment on without problems. Good number of plug sockets. Food next door in the Beefeater was very poor.

Disabled Access In and Around

Good

Overall very good. Lift on the small side to fit me and my husband and a case inside. Handy that the lift went straight up to the room floors without trundling equipment past reception and through lots of doors. Room had low twin beds which was our chosen preference. Nice moveable table by the bed for my ventilator and plenty of room for manual transfers. Possibly not big enough for a hoist. Flat access to the beefeater next door. No major noise and good air con. No heating.

Parking & Transport

Excellent

Bays both undercover and in the open , next to the door. Lift and automatic doors nearby.

Accessible Toilets

Excellent

A matter of personal taste but good size for manual transfers with good transfer space. Very grippy floor and all the usual handrails. Toilet pan slightly unusual back which may not accommodate a portable bidet like I use.

Staff

Good

A little slow on check in - ring for assistance was slow. Cleaning staff friendly.

Additional Information

Would go back but wouldn't use the Beefeater next door due to very poor service and understaffed.
