Overall Rating
Good
Popped into Primark to see the "Adaptive" clothing range. There were three racks in the store: in the women's section, I the men's section; and one in sleepwear (near the shape wear!). Primark makes me feel a bit claustrophobic and caught in a maze - but I am sure shopaholics would love it for just that reason. Hopefully my photos of the Adaptive clothing rails gives you an idea what you're searching for, so you find them a bit quicker than we did!
Disabled Access In and Around
Primark is a bit of a jungle and we found it hard to locate the Adaptive clothing range as there were no signs hanging from the ceiling. From wheelchair height it feels like a bit of a maze. A really helpful store assistant showed me the way to the Adaptive range and then we knew the signage to look out for to locate the other racks in the store.
Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
Braehead shopping centre has several accessible parking bays dotted across the shopping centre. We found the 3rd level of the multistorey carpark to have the most space for parking, and it is undercover.
Accessible facilities: Electric vehicle charging, Dedicated on-site parking
Accessible Toilets
There is a unisex, wheelchair-accessible toilet with baby changing facilities in the arena foyer. There is also a Changing Places toilet in Braehead Shopping Centre, on the upper level within the baby changing area.
Facilities: Changing Places toilet, Accessible toilet
Staff
Excellent
Really helpful member of the staff was happy to take me to the Adaptive range and pointed out roughly where to find the other two rails through the store. She told me where I could find her if we needed more help. She was very kind and friendly, an asset to Primark.
