This charging hub is located within a commercial shopping centre car park. Most of the surrounding shops were shut during our late-evening visit. We used a Zunder device at this location.
Disabled Access In and Around
The charging spaces are not designated or marked as accessible bays for disabled drivers, and none of them meet PAS 1899 requirements. The dimensions of the bays measure 330 cm wide by 437 cm long; while the width is decent, the length is insufficient for an accessible standard layout. There are no signs directing you to the stations from the main road, but the hub is clearly positioned right in the middle of the car park. There are 16 standard disabled bays located elsewhere in the main shopping centre car park. The structural layout presents specific accessibility drawbacks. Low-level bollards protect the units, but they do not obstruct immediate access. However, the charge point interface cannot be viewed, reached or operated easily from a seated position; the setup forces you to squat down just to see the screen and operate the card payment terminal. The handle connector bottom sits between 800 mm and 950 mm, and a minimum clearance path of 1200 mm from the charge unit to the vehicle socket point is maintained despite the nearby obstacles.

There are 16 bays in total at this location, and 3 of them were occupied when we arrived. The chargers are run by Zunder, and while there are no signs visible on the hardware, the app indicates they provide up to 300 kW charging. Our battery was at 57% and reached 100% after 40 minutes, costing a total of £17.07. You can pay by app, card and charge card/RFID. We initially attempted to pay via the smartphone app, but the interface became stuck on a loading screen after instructing us to connect, forcing us to process the payment by card instead. The charger has its own cable and connector, which provides sufficient length alongside proper cable management to avoid trip hazards. The cable connector handle weighs 4.6 kg. The interface supports multiple languages.

Accessible Toilets
There are no standalone public facilities right next to the chargers, but the main public building amenities and toilets are located less than 50 metres away inside the adjacent shopping centre.
Additional Information
A customer assistance option is available by the chargers via a listed phone number, and the site features overhead lighting. For weather protection, there is a canopy structure fully sheltering the individual charging stations.
