Venue Description

Exeter’s world-class museum has stunning new displays and galleries, fabulous exhibitions and modern amenities. The displays reveal Devon and Exeter’s rich history and global connections. Exotic animals, birds and insects delight children and the world cultures galleries display stunning items from all over the world.

Accessibility

Getting in: Wheelchair users and people with mobility scooters, pushchairs and buggies can use the ramp at the Garden entrance. There is also a lifting platform from the pavement at the Queen Street entrance. Lifts and level access ensure that the displays can be enjoyed by all. Wheelchairs and portable stools are available for visitors' use and there are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities on both floors. There is level access on each floor with ample space to manoeuvre between displays. Each gallery has large print captions available. Gallery staff are on hand to help.
