I am a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment and moving around.
Overall Rating
Excellent
Redcar is a clean and well apointed seaside town with plenty of variety. The seafront promenade is excellent for people with disabilities - flat with plenty of seating, typical seaside arcades, etc and plenty of alternative places to eat (as well as icecream!). They could do with slightly more designated disabled parking spaces close to amenities. The town centre has a large variety of shops although when we went it was undergoing a large redevelopement so many seats had been removed. The cinema was first class.

If visiting with wheelchair, etc check with venue before going - some shops and restaurants could do with improved access.
