Venue Description
Redwings Oxhill is situated in the gorgeous Warwickshire countryside and boasts some beautiful views across the county. The centre, which is a Visit England Quality Assured Attraction, provides a place of sanctuary to almost 90 horses, ponies and donkeys, fluffy donkey Arya and cuddly cob Rumpel. After a relaxing stroll, you can enjoy a takeaway warm cuppa and tasty snacks from Major’s Café. The play area will remain closed for now, but our on-site gift shop which offers a wide range of souvenirs is open, with all proceeds supporting the hundreds of animals in Redwings’ care. Having met the centre’s lovable residents, you might like to sponsor one of the charity’s adorable Adoption Stars. Available from just £15 per year, you can adopt for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. Redwings Oxhill is open one weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm). In July and August the site will be open every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 10am-4pm). Entry and parking are free but donations of all sizes can really support the charity’s work if you would like to make one. Dogs on leads are welcome. We are continuing to ask supporters to pre-book time slots for their visits to ensure the number of people at the centre remains at a controlled level. Please visit our website to book tickets https://www.redwings.org.uk/get-involved/visit/oxhill-visitor-centre.Accessibility
The centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users, with a concrete pathway through the middle of the site. There is a wheelchair available for loan. The site has an accessible WC and plenty of parking. Some of our picnic tables are suitable for wheelchairs too. We suggest visitors wear sturdy shoes!
