Overview

Roots is an urban farm shop with a café, serving a delicious range of savoury and sweet food.

Transport & Parking

Roots is in Eastbourne town centre, a few minutes walk from Eastbourne railway station. Also a number of buses stop close by.

Access

There are a couple of freestanding tables and chairs on the pavement outside the café. There is a very small step into the café. Once inside there is a counter at standing height and free standing table and chairs.

Toilets

I didn't use them and I'm unsure if they were accessible.

Staff

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was ordered at the counter, and then the food and drink were brought to your table.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The food was exceptionally good quality. I had a quiche and salad followed with a slice of Victoria sponge. I just happened to find this café by chance as I was walking round and the scarecrows in the window attracted my attention and I decided to visit. Extremely nice and would be very happy to visit again next time I'm in Eastbourne.
