Overview
A delayed arrival late into the evening was met with a very helpful member of staff which was typical of all staff that I had contact with throughout my stay.
Transport & Parking
The hotel has its own secure car parking but I travelled there using public transport. With 2 train networks I knew to use the Sbahn network for its level access. I would have preferred staff to be visible but locals offered their help whenever I needed it.
Access
With 5 lifts to all floors with Braille indicating each floor. The accessible bed rooms are opposite the lifts. The huge breakfast room is level throughout.
Toilets
I only used the loo in my wet room which was well equipped and spacious enough.
Staff
On arrival the receptionist led my upto my room, taking my trolley bag for me. He disconnected the door closure which was new to me but makes any door more accessible. He realised that there was no shower chair so went to fetch one. In the breakfast room a young waitress offered to help me as I was at the hotel alone. Both barmen were friendly with one advising me on museums to visit. He also spotted me at a station 6 stops from the hotel and helped me buy a tcket and validate it.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The hotel met my expectations completely and I intend booking at another Scandic hotel in the future.
