Disabled access seemed to be perfectly adequate.

Toilets

The toilets are outside the centre and also appear to be on level ground, with no apparent obstacles.

Staff

The staff could not have been better. My friend volunteers here thus I was fortunate enough to be able to arrange a short flight as a favour. The staff could not be faulted. Debs, who arranged the wee barn owl flight, also works with a man who has autism and takes learning difficulties in her stride. Tristan, who helps run the centre, is similarly disposed. Overall the staff were largely responsible for a lovely experience visiting, describing and helping us interact with the birds.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The Scottish Owl Centre is situated within Polkemmet Country Park. There are ample play areas for children nearby, and sufficient opportunities to ramble or walk the dogs. At last count sadly the cafe was closed, so please call for details re this. There are vending machines within the Owl Centre reception area, and the opportunity to buy some very cute souvenirs/gifts. Concession is available for people with a disability, and those supporting people go free as long as sufficient proof of situation is presented. It is a great day out, highly recommend it.
