Best place we’ve been for ages. Amidst a gorgeous art-deco setting … great food with a good range of veggie options. We had: ham, egg and chips; fish and chips; 5-bean chilli; and veggie quiche. All good size portions. Perfect chips - crisp on the outside and soft inside; several thick slices of tasty ham; lots of varied salad with the quiche; gently spicy chilli. First class service. Reasonably priced. Nice, properly hot coffee. Very good disabled access points that are clearly signposted. The other reviewers must have missed the. There are two ramps - one with a normal width auto door that’s fine for pedestrian access and an indoor wheelchair and leads into the airport building foyer; and a second ramp with a wide auto door that leads straight into the restaurant. The only thing I’d change is to offer full-fat milk with coffee, but that applies to most places, unfortunately. Full-fat milk is better for you and tastes better! Anyway, thank you to everyone at Hummingbird.

Parking & Transport
Good
Have to pay for disabled parking, which is disappointing. £2.50 for 3 hours if you pay in cash at the machine. You can’t pay by card at the machine - to pay with a card you have download the Poppay app. And pay an extra 30p for the privilege.
