We arrived in the car park to find plenty parking. One place was set aside for disabled parking but you really had to know where it was to park in it. Entry into the museum was through a doorway with a lip of about an inch. Moving around the buildings was not a breeze as the corridors were fairly narrow. There was a lot of backwards and forwards trying to get past manikins and benches. The worst one was we went around the indoor hanger full of aeroplane exhibits, the pathway was tight but manageable. Near the end we came to a part where the plane’s wings were a good way into the pathway. My husband got stuck. He couldn't go forward because of the wing, he couldn't go back because it was too difficult to navigate around corners. In the end my husband managed to get the arm off of his disability scooter and so managed to get past the wing. My husband didn't use the toilet however I did. There was one toilet for everyone in the main block. It was down a long corner with several short turns. Once in the toilet it was certainly big enough to accommodate a wheel chair or small disability scooter. However getting there would have required a certain amount of walking. Most of the exhibits were outside and while it was possible for able bodied people to look inside some aircraft, Im not sure it would have been reasonable to expect accommodations for a disabled person.
