Good EV bay layout but too narrow

These were quite narrow EV charging bays within Car Park A at Westfield Stratford City. There were six in total and the machines seemed to be operated by a company called Monta. These bays were on Level 4 of this multi-storey car park. The connectors were all Type 2 connectors and required you to have your own cable with you. The machines were to the side of each EV bay and the bay was painted green. There was nothing obstructing access to the machine and the machine and connector were at a good height. If you were able to park without anyone in the bays on either side then it was a really good layout. However, because the bays were quite narrow, if someone parked in a bay next to you it would really restrict the space around your own car.
Disabled Access In and Around
These bays were on Level 4 of Car Park A in Westfield Stratford City. There were 6 bays in total and they were quite hard to find, it seemed there were only arrows to direct you one you reached Level 4 and the bays were on the far side of the car park. There are also three lifts that travel between the floors of the car park and shopping centre. The bays themselves were quite narrow and the machines were placed to the side of each bay. There were no obstructions in front of the machines which meant it was really easy to get up close to them in my wheelchair. The height of the machine and connector was really good as well. You did need to have your own cable with you to charge here. Because the bays were quite narrow, if cars were parked in the bays on either side of the one you were in it would really limit the amount of space around your vehicle. With cars on either side I would struggle to get out of my car and get in between the bays to reach the connector and machine. Overall I did like the layout of these bays but they just aren’t big enough.

Car Park A is one of the larger car parks for Westfield Stratford City. It provides lots of parking spaces, including accessible parking spaces. Stratford Station is next to Westfield Stratford City, where you can access trains on the Central Line, DLR, Elizabeth Line, Greater Anglia services, Jubilee Line, and Mildmay (Overground) Line. Stratford International is a short walk from this car park where you can get Southeastern services and the DLR. Stratford Bus Station and Stratford City Bus stations are also a short walk away. There are a large number of bus services available from these two stations. Stratford City Bus Station also offers coach services to Stansted.
