Good
We booked a pre-Christmas meal with friends in advance of TheChristmas Rush. The person on the phone advised us of a large booking coming in at the same time and suggested amending our times which was fantastic as it meant we received an outstanding Service. The menu was quite varied and we did have the option of a Christmas lunch menu or the normal menu and we chose the normal menu and there was around six starters main courses and desserts to choose from so everyone was able to choose something that they enjoyed and the food quality was outstanding and the portion size was just perfect not to be too full and there was no waste. Of note the menus text is small so anyone with vision issues would need to use a mobile phone screen to zoom the text as it was unreadable even with my glasses on. Overall, a great afternoon with good Company and good food.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Whilst the disabled access is level with no ramps once inside the turning circles are quite tight and getting around between the tables and chairs was relatively simple when they were empty but getting around when the venue is full of diners would be extremely difficult as the passage is too narrow between the tables and chairs to allow a wheelchair to comfortably go past without knocking into everyone.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The hotel has a large car park off the road so you can pull into it but the surface has been marked on the smooth, the car park is large enough for over a dozen cars.
Accessible Toilets
0I did not use, so I cannot comment, but I would say that it would be difficult to get around inside whilst the venue is full of Diners.
Staff
Excellent
The staff were outstanding, from booking it and being advised of multiple tables all arriving at the same time to the waiters and the staff on the day We’re outstanding.
Additional Information
Knowing that one of the party was in a wheelchair, The staff removed the chair in advance of me arriving as there is nothing worse than rocking up to a table and having to ask the waiter To remove a chair, so kudos to this venue
