I should first highlight that the venue was closed when I arrived, as we got there later in the evening, so this was to be expected. This review is solely concerned with the accessible toilet, which can be accessed out of hours as it is on the other side of the building from the entrance. Please keep this in mind, as it's not fair to judge the museum and arts centre if I haven't actually been inside!
Parking & Transport
Average
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
There is a car park to the side of the main entrance, but there are no marked bays. The car park has a light coating of crushed stone - which shouldn't be an issue for most mobility devices. On the other side of the building, there is a solid tarmacked accessible parking space which was clearly marked at some point, but the markings are now heavily eroded - there is a sign on the wall near it however. From there, there is a slabbed route to the entrance to the toilet. Lochmaddy Ferry Terminal is 320 metres away, there is also a bus stop at th terminal.
Accessible facilities: Dedicated on-site parking

A RADAR key was not required to access the toilet. The door to the loo opens inwards and felt quite light. The toilet is small, but I expect a powerchair user could complete a full turn inside. There are rails on either side of the toilet pan, although the right-side rail when seated felt a little further away from the pan than I would expect. There is space for a right-side transfer, but there is a bin in the way. An unusual aspect of this loo is that there is a urinal in the transfer space. It is in a boxed-in section at the back of the pan, which makes it stick out a bit. This means the urinal is not an obstacle, but it is certainly unusual. The red cord is to the right when seated, but it is far too short and stops about a metre from the floor. The flush is on the side of the transfer space, as is best practice. The room also has colostomy shelf.
