The Tarka Trail (shared-use section) runs for approximately 48km along the length of a disused railway line from Braunton to Meeth in North Devon. The Braunton to Torrington section is most suited for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. It has a mostly smooth tarmac surface with a gradual incline south of Watergate through to Meeth. There are 21 audio posts where users can scan a QR code with a smartphone to listen to audio clips giving information on the history, heritage and wildlife of the Trail. For full details of access point widths, surface conditions, parking and seating along the Trail, please see the Tarka Trail Guide - available locally and online at http://www.tarkatrailguide.co.uk/
