Overview

Not completely accessible but we made this work for us and it was completely worth it! Such a beautiful location - amongst nature, incredibly peaceful and a real treat. We will definitely return at some point in the future. A number of accommodations on site with 'Paille et Terre' being the nearest to what could be described as accessible.

Transport & Parking

We were able to park the car a short distance from the cabin however there was a gravel path so some assistance may be needed.

Access

Gravel paths and a few small steps meant assistance was needed to get around. However this was not a problem for us and we carry a ramp in the car which helped. The path around the lake was partially accessible for those that are able to go 'off-road' however there was no bridge over the small stream so the pontoon was not reachable. It would not take much for the owner, Sara, to remedy so this may change in the future.

Toilets

Compost toilet so not fully geared up for access. However sizeable room and roll in shower (with mains plumbing). Plenty of room for shower chair and carer.

Staff

Sara was lovely & incredibly helpful. We only wish we stayed longer!

Paille et Terre was one room of a two room cabin. The other room Chaux et Chanvre was perfect for our care assistant to stay in. The cabin is hand crafted with each room having French doors that open onto a private patio with a view over the lake. http://www.terre-et-toi.com
