I have sent a message to bring to the attention Tescos my thoughts but have had no response The cafe has been recently upgraded and looks clean and fresh, standard menu and staff very helpfull. You now order at a screen which I think there were four of but none were at a suitable height for a wheelchair user, I’m lucky that I can stand but if I couldn’t I’d have difficulty, there’s not much room between the screens and some tables and although there is room to manovere but if anyone else is using the screens you have to ask them to move The main dining area is clean and fresh and looks nice but again the tables look like there is adequate room unless there are other customers with shopping trollies, buggies etc Again staff were happy to assist but I don’t want to have to ask for assistance just to grab a cafe meal or snack. It’s table service and they bring pre wrapped cutlery, condiments are on a separate table and I could reach them easily Food and coffee were nice, typical cafe food at reasonable,e prices Then I went to the toilet which was marked as accessible… Firstly you have to move down a fairly narrow corridor and navigate a solid heavy door hoping a person coming out doesn’t fall over you, then you face the accessible toilet and you enter to find restricted space with very little turning room, so locking the door was a challenge. Again I can stand but would have struggled to transfer die to the size of the room and the placement of bins. The bathroom looked dingy and had poop splatters on the bin. The red pull cord had no handle or note and was placed almost behind the toilet, I’d imagine it would be difficult to reach I’d I was on the dirty looking floor So not impressed I did visit customer services to report the red pull cord and contacted Tesco via there web site. I’ll be back later this week if will be interesting to see if the pull cord issue has been addressed The supermarket itself features wide aisle with plenty of room to move around and plenty of helpfull staff around to reach items for you. Two scooters free to borrow are also very easy to use, Plenty of room at the rills and self service I didn’t totice if the customer services counter had a lowered counter, but all tills were at the same height and I could use them without issue
