Overview

Had dinner here just before Christmas - quite busy and crowded with small accessible toilet but all fine with some assistance

Transport & Parking

4

Car parking is behind the venue, buses pass nearby and taxis can also stop nearby. It is level access from these drop off points into the venue.

Access

3.5

Level access into venue, only one door to get in. There are two double doors and my power-chair needed both open to get in which my family helped with. There is a slight decline into the venue, with handrails on either side. The seating is very crowded (Wetherspoons typically want more seats filled) which made going to the bathroom a bit of a trek. Tables were a comfortable height for me as I could roll my powerchair under. They had some tables with a single middle pole or some with four legs underneath. There are also some booths, high stools and extra seating up a small cove (two steps) on right hand side of bar.

Toilets

2.5

Quite difficult to find, lack of signage. RADAR key required. There was only enough room for me in my powerchair which was okay as I can transfer independently but I still felt it cosy. Red cord hanging to the floor which is fab. Sink has space to roll under. There were two bins against the wall that made it look more cluttered ( Accessible toilet is also a baby change)

Staff

Hard to get their attention sometimes as bar is busy and had to remind one to not pack baby seats around where I was sitting as large powerchairs need more than half a metre space to fit through. Any waiters we had were nice.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Guide dogs are welcome according to signs
