Overview

This wedding venue, once you're in, is very disabled friendly.

Transport & Parking

The main car park is in a field and if there's adverse weather it's very challenging for able bodied people. I arrived by taxi and was dropped near the entrance but I'm sure blue badge holders would be accommodated somewhere suitable.

Access

Outside the venue there's a mix of surfaces. Some hard and some loose slate/muddy paths. This caused me to have an accident when my wheelchair was being pushed by my taxi driver and he didn't notice the change of surfaces and I was tipped out of my chair. The venue is step free apart from going onto the dance floor but a ramp can be put in if requested.

Toilets

The easily accessed disabled loo has adequate grab rails and a shower. There's lots of room for a carer and it was very clean.

Staff

Staff were helpful and attentive.
