Overall Rating

We were staying in the area and looking for somewhere for an evening meal . I phoned the hotel in the morning , the person who answered was extremely helpfully. I asked about access for disabled people especially those in a wheel chair . She said we are fully accessible. I then asked about the availability of a table for that night for four people . She said no problem at all. I then explained about my allergies caused by my medication as I wanted to check that the options I fancied would be suitable , she said no problem at all I can adjust most things . The choices on the menu were great , my aunt who is vegetarian had such a large choice of meals. As I have a small appetite I was delighted to see that many items come as a half portion. I choose to have a half portion of pork fillet in Madeira sauce with chips and veg, my aunt had a chilli prawn and crab linguine while my husband and uncle both had red tai curry with prawns . All the food was amazing and the staff were so helpful , in my opinion they went above and beyond to cater for my needs.

Access to the hotel and restaurant was excellent, everything is on one level

Parking & Transport

We were able to park right outside the entrance to the hotel on the road

Accessible Toilets

They had accessible toilets but I didn’t use them .

Staff

The staff were amazing so helpful . They couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a lovely evening. The chef was also able to alter the ingredients in what I had chosen for dinner so it meet my needs . We would certainly go back again when visiting the area
