Third evening of our stay at Homelands in Fife, we took the road over to Cupar, and found The Courtyard up a little wynd. Very warm welcome greeted us and we were made comfortable in the small restaurant with table accommodating myself and my wheelchair beneath it. The menu although small covered all our needs, and I had delicious smoked haddock fishcake followed by grand flavours of venison and wild mushroom lasagna. Good bottle of Merlot with the food.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Level access to the restaurant and signage is clear on Bonnygate, the road leading to the restaurant.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We travelled by WAV and parked just around the corner from the restaurant in a disabled bay. Originally we had planned to use the public car park just along from the restaurant. Cupar is well served by public transport with both railway station and bus links across Fife.
Accessible Toilets
0The owner is honest when taking a booking, there are no accessible toilets for wheelchairs (the toilets in the restaurant are necessarily small indeed). Happily I did not require use of a toilet.
Staff
Excellent
Very welcoming staff, made us feel comfortable throughout our meal.
