There were no steps encountered when entering the restaurant, only a ramp with a slight but not challenging gradient making it accessible for wheelchair users or those who may experience mobility difficulties. The restaurant shares the car parking bays with the opposing supermarket, however there are disabled car parking bays situated alongside the right side of the building. At the time of visiting (around 5pm) it was slightly more difficult to access a parking bay due to the capacity of people wanting to visit the restaurant and the supermarket, however there is a drop-off area situated outside the restaurant avoiding the need for those with mobility difficulties to encounter a long walk.
Parking & Transport

The restaurant is situated within driving distance from the central area of Hartlepool town. There is a nearby bus route / stop which is a 5 minute walk to the restaurant, however those who do not have access to transport links such as these may struggle reaching its location. It is positioned across from a supermarket; Aldi and is nearby a housing estate, avoiding congestion noises and traffic from the main roads. For those not familiar with the area, the staff obtained a number of a local taxi company and were happy to arrange transport for customers upon request if needed.

The toilets are situated directly across from the bar. There is one disabled access toilet which was clean and contained equipment such as grab rails all within wheelchair height and an alarm cord.

The staff were extremely welcoming and told me they try their upmost to accommodate requests for particular seating area reservations however this is mainly achieved through advanced booking.
Additional Information
Having visited the restaurant at what was considered a peak time (weekend) I would recommend avoiding this time if a family member/friend struggles with being within a loud atmosphere. In terms of the menu available, the restaurant offered a wide selection and said they can often accommodate for those with particular dietary requirements such as food intolerance's. The print of the menu is of average size and from my own judgement I would say those with visual impairments may struggle reading it. There is an upstairs function room, used only for events such as weddings, however there is a lift situated in the entrance of the restaurant allowing access for those who require it. In terms of prices, I would consider the place to be quite expensive however this is due to the good quality of fresh food used. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this place as you will be guaranteed a warm welcome and pleasant dining experience.
