Overview
This high street pub has a restaurant that is often in the press and delivers exceptional quality. Sadly it is not very accessible but it can be done by a wheelchair user.
Transport & Parking
There is a large rear carpark which is level. However there is no designated disabled parking and although quite compacted it is all gravelled. What frustrates me is that there is ample space for designated disable parking and some tarmac area so is an opportunity missed. There are 2 disabled public carpark spaces on the high street opposite the Greyhound - approx 25m away across the high street
Access
Access via the front door is the only way to get in by wheelchair, there is a large lip to the door, a Coir mat and a tight turn left or right into the bar and dining areas. Once you are in the restaurant it is quite spacious. There is a river side garden which I have not yet used.
Toilets
There is no accessible toilet in the Greyhound. However, there is a public accessible WC just over the High Street about 25m away and accessed using a Radar key.
Staff
Welcoming and accommodating.
