A sugar fuelled breakfast at this bustling cafe with wide, flat entrance and accessible toilet.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Double doors, glass but not automatic. Step-free entrance. Lots of seating areas yet nice clear route to the toilets. You’re asked to order at the counter, but plenty of staff around and they bring your food to you. Some furniture a little close together in one corner of the cafe, another large area of extra seating down a set of steps, but the nicest part of the cafe is on the flat.
Parking & Transport
Poor
Parking isn’t so easy along this narrow, busy street, but there is some on street parking. We parked in the car park beside Scotmid just two minutes away, although this was up a fairly steep hill - however it did have lots of accessible parking spaces.
Accessible Toilets
Good
Big toilet, a little bit messy when I visited. Didn’t notice an emergency cord beside the toilet - sink and hand dryer were at a mid height which was good. This doubles up as a baby change space.
Staff
Good
Certainly very friendly but service was a little slow and some staff seemed a bit inexperienced when we visited.
