The Longhouse is a beach bar, cafe and function centre, that also offers outdoor pursuits equipment for hire, such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards and mountain bikes, and has a licence to perform weddings and civil ceremonies. We will also soon begin training courses and outdoor pursuits adventures. We are situated within 100 yards of the beach at Freshwater East in South Pembrokeshire and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. We are a family run business and have an extensive military and training background. As we are in such a fantastic part of the world we would like to enable as many people as possible to get out and about in the fresh air in this the Welsh Year of Adventure. We are a new company and are looking to improve our facilities and services to all customers, so would welcome any feedback and advice that may be available. Great place!

The Longhouse has flat, level access downstairs. There's no lift to upstairs which isn't a problem as everything you'd need is on the ground floor. The food is really good, we've been a couple of times since the new owners took over and the food has always been freshly cooked and delicious. Their accessible toilet isn't the biggest but it was fine for my manual chair. The first toilet I've visited that I haven't had to kick the bin out of the way to transfer!

Disabled Access Information Provided by The Longhouse

Disabled Access at The Longhouse

The ground floor is fully accessible for all customers. There are no steps, or ramps, and is all on one level, All doors are wide enough for wheelchairs, and assistance dogs are welcome. We do not have disabled access to the first floor.

Accessible parking at The Longhouse

Level parking with no steps is available free to all customers outside The Longhouse and is just 100 yards away from the beach at Freshwater East and The Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
