Overview

SAT NAV DIRECTIONS. WR12 7DU LYGON ARMS. BROADWAY. This direction will take you to the main front entrance for the Jygon Arms, but parking is difficult in BROADWAY, so if you find a spot near to hotel GRAB IT. Or follow our directions to get you to their private hotels car park. OUR REVIEW From in front of the lygon Arms (photo 1) drive along High street with the Hotel on your right hand, (turning around to do so if needed) and drive towards the high monument with its cross pattern on top of it, and all the grassy lawns. TAKE THE FIRST RIGHT on the bend, Signed Springfield Lane, and follow this narrow lane straight ahead along Back Lane (photo 2) then drive those few yards to the private car park sign and park up (if this is full, just drive on a few more yards, passing gardens on your left to the next car park, also their private car park, we recommend this second car park (photo 3) Two disabled bays are available, No need to pay at machines). BUT DO MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER YOUR CAR AT THE BAR WHEN YOU ENTER THE HOTEL) and buy a drink or two. DO NOT FORGET TO DO SO ! Popped in for drinks break and a light lunch, beautiful. This old historical hotel is well worth visiting, and we suggest you READ OUR FIRST REVIEW AS WELL to get a full picture of what has become a favourite hotel visit for many. Coffee break is a must, and light lunches are really nice, well prepared and presented. Although old, and having kept its character, it is a well maintained hotel, clean throughout, interesting little nooks and crannies, old paintings and furnishings add to its delight, WELL WORTH A VISIT. From this car park walk towards the hotel, it’s well signed, and take a look at the lovely gardens (photo 4 and 5) the sign shows it as their garden of games (photo 6) Opposite the gardens (mind the step if you went in) (photo 7) you will see the beautifully laid out path, delightfully laid out with shrubs that will please you (photo 8) which lead up to the courtyard (photo 9) and in the corner you will see the level entrance into the hotel (photo 10) You are straightaway in the Bar lounge (photo 11 with lots of little pleasant sitting areas inviting you in (photo 12). We love the old atmosphere created here, with lots of rooms to look at as you decide where to sit and relax (photos 13 to 16). Coffee is hot and very nice, and light lunches are a pleasure, we chose one of their menus sandwiches (photo 17) very filling. The toilets are just to the left from the bar, in a dark little lounge (photo 18) with dark wooden door, and after you have pushed open the door, the disabled toilet is on your right (signed as cloakroom) (photo 19) Communal toilets, but it’s very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, with plenty of room for All chairs. OUR FINAL THOUGHTS

Transport & Parking

4

Lovely drive towards Broadway, a favourite little town in the Cotswolds.

Access

4

Easy walk on the level from the hotels car park, passing by very nice gardens. Entry throughout the hotel is mainly flat, with a little step here or there, but of no real bother to you.

Toilets

4

Very nice and clean, through push doors, but on the level, with spacious toilet available. It’s communal and signed as cloakroom, on your right.

Staff

4

All staff are pleasant and willing here.
