Roudsea Woods are a beautiful triple SI location, there are mature trees, mosses and marshes, In summer nesting ospreys may be seen in the distance from the boardwalk . It is an enchanting place. The Tramper route is challenging, not for the faint hearted.

A flat stretch of tarmac, no problems.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The parking is in the Clocktower Business Park car park . The two trampers are kept in a shed adjacent to the car park. There is no public transport to this venue
Staff
Excellent
The hire point is manned by the staff of Cumbria Rivers Trust , who are based in the Clocktower.They were very friendly and helpful.
Additional Information
The Morecambe Bay Partnership coordinate hiring out Trampers round the Bay. We intend to revisit this location regularly to enjoy the changing seasons in the Wood.
