Overall Rating
Excellent
Lovely function suite with plenty of space to get around once you are on the first floor. Quality buffet with efficient staff. There is a balcony with sliding doors which push right back in good weather.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There is plenty of space once you get up to the first floor venue. There is a ramp at the entrance and then a self operated lift to the first floor. It takes a little manoeuvring to come out of the lift and through the doors on the stair landing.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
This is down a quiet lane off a main road so whilst there are buses on the main road it is a fair walk to the venue. There is plenty of parking, some of it a little rough but there are disabled parking spaces on tarmac right by the entrance.
Accessible Toilets
Good
The disabled toilet is large but with no emergency cord. The disabled toilet is downstairs in the vestibule as you come in. There is no disabled toilet on the first floor.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were quietly efficient. Tables were cleared regularly and the buffet set out swiftly.
