Built in 1882 by Sefton Parry, The Playhouse Theatre is an 822 seat theatre situated over three levels. Re-built in 1905 after the next door wall of Charing Cross Station fell into the theatre's ceiling, The Playhouse has been home to a number of well known actors and actresses. Cyril Maude, Julie Walters and Richard O'Brien have all walked the boards here at The Playhouse, whilst notable productions include Spamalot, Rocky Horror Show Live, Matthew Perry's The End of Longing and now showing An Inspector Calls.
