What was once an old potting shed is today a tearoom serving up incredible cake. The tearoom and garden are tucked away along a single track road surrounded by woodland and wildlife. There's step-free access, but it is a bit tight for space inside the tearoom.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Access was pretty good! We encountered step-free access, friendly staff and although it's a little tight for space, it's easy enough to shift the furniture a little. Service is at the counter, but there were plenty of staff around to assist if required.
Parking & Transport
Good
There is a small car park across the single track road right at the entrance to the garden. It is impossible to drive right up to the door, but the garden path leading the the tearoom is wide. If you want to take a taxi, it costs around £10 from Aviemore train station.
Accessible Toilets
0I saw a clear sign pointing to toilets but didn't use these so can't comment.
Staff
Excellent
Very friendly staff. They informed us that from March 2018 you'll have to book before visiting.
Additional Information
The cakes are delicious and there are many to choose from! Cake and drinks are all they serve however, so be aware of this if you're looking for lunch! I noticed they had a rustic greenhouse right outside the tearoom with a long table that was reserved the day we visited. That would be gorgeous for a private event.
