Overview

Visited this hotel for a tasting menu meal after receiving a voucher from our family for Christmas. Dry elegant hotel, amazing staff, great food. Once in a lifetime experience.

Transport & Parking

Really not sure because we did not have a car & arrived by taxi. The taxi was able to drop us off near to the hotel however. There are steps up to the front entrance however staff were there straight away to meet us & took us to a side entrance which they had a ramp in place. It didn’t make any difference how we got in as we arrived in the main entrance hall from the side entrance too.

Access

The staff were all very helpful & guided you to the dining room. The floors were all level & easily accessible. Lifts available to go to different floors if necessary. As mentioned moveable ramp used to overcome the steps into the hotel.

Toilets

The accessible toilet was on the first floor which was accessed via a lift. Good sized toilet, very clean. Plenty of hand rails, red cord & plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheel chair & space for a carer if needed.

Staff

All the staff were very helpful & friendly. They were exceptionally polite & were willing to do anything to help. One member of staff took me upstairs to the toilet while my husband was organising a taxi etc.
