Overview

There's a lift to take your wheelchair down into the boat although it's a matter of 2 steps up and 4 down and with plenty of willing helpers I climbed in myself and they stowed my chair away. It was a 1.5 hour trip through a lock with a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide. A small cafe and a loo was on board. I didn't use the loo so can't comment. My only reservation is that getting from the pavement across a 1.5 meter stretch of grass on to the tow path was quite steep. My husband managed it (I'm in a manual chair) but there's no way I could have controlled it and I would have ended up in the canal!

There was free blue badge parking with accessible loo in the car park which was about 1/4 mile away.
