I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, moving around and understanding.

Good
I’ve had a few great visits to this venue. It’s a manageable place access wise with some excellent features. The staff are always lovely and helpful and I’ve found it a venue that suits my needs as a powerchair user.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
The venue has a somewhat steep ramp from parking spaces to the entrance, if you are coming from the shopping centre/car park there is a lift to the level of the entrance. Once inside the foyer can be crowded but I’ve generally been able to get around ok. There are wheelchair spaces with companion seats on both sides of row G, which is at street level so level access. There are also some seats on this level which suit ambulant disabled people who need step free access or easier access seats at the sides. These allow easier viewing than sitting in the main seats if people are standing for a concert.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
I have driven to the venue and found it easy to find. There are some accessible parking bays outside and multiple car parks near by. The station is also close by for those travelling by train.

Accessible Toilets
Average
I’ve rated this average, it’s very very small and only one accessible toilet for the venue. It’s very hard to navigate because of the size and location. There is not a turning circle area large enough for a powerchair. There is not a good space for wheelchair transfer next to the toilet. There are a lot of bins and only just fit myself in a powerchair and carer. I was able to make it work as I can stand to transfer, and transfer from the front. It would be manageable for some wheelchair users but definitely not all. It is well suited for most ambulant disabled people.

Excellent
Staff have always been excellent. I struggle with telephone calls which does make booking more difficult, however they have been so helpful, in reserving seats for me so I can get help to call and pay. All staff at the venue have been lovely and helpful. Cannot fault their staff at all.
