Overall Rating
Good
A really useful service, shop and font of dog knowledge for disabled dog owners.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There front entrance is step free, however it does have quite a steep slope and a lip of 2.5cm that was manageable in a manual wheelchair but some might struggle. The shop floor has some merchandise around the edges and is a bit crowded, but its a small shop and you expect that in Edinburgh and there's always someone on hand to reach things. The grooming room has a gate with an aperture of 63cm (wide enough for a 17 inch manual chair). The shop can be quite loud when the grooming room is in use and some may struggle to hear.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance, Single-level venue
Parking & Transport
Good
I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
buses run regularly along the high street. Blue badge parking is limited.
Staff
Excellent
Susan is a font of dog knoweldge and helped me find the right feeding setup for my older assistance dog who with arthritis. She was also able to point me in the right direction for hydrotherpy and other holistic treatments for her.
