Overview
This was my first visit but will definitely visit again. The boardwalks get you right into the marshes and ponds so lots of birds. Care is needed particularly on the bends and corners but the access here is great for wheels. Not so great for mobility impaired on foot as no benches or handrails.
Transport & Parking
There's a medium sized car park with an impacted dirt surface, broadly level but with occasional roots, stones and dips. No blue badge spaces but there was plenty of space when we went. I doubt if public transport passes near by so car probably needed.
Access
There is a map on a board by the car park. The route wasn't brilliantly marked and there weren't signs for an accessible path. However we followed the Dragonfly Trail which was fine. There was mostly boardwalk with occasional light sand or compacted earth path. I have a powered wheelchair/trike - absolutely no problems - I'm sure a manual chair wouldn't have been too much trouble to push though care needed not to go near the edge. A companion couldn't walk alongside a chair on the boards but there's plenty of room for someone on foot going the other way to pass. Another wheelchair or pushchair couldn't pass - however there are wider passing places occasionally.
Toilets
No loos.
Staff
No staff though we did bump into a ranger who was very friendly.
