Very interesting little medieval building, now used as the museum, but sadly, it’s not really for disabled, as you need to get up a step to even get into restaurant, but a ramp is available and staff will get that out for you, but you will have to hope they are not to busy to do so. However, you can take your chair down to the far end and see the old machines on display, memories here for us oldies. The toilets are down there as well. A small restaurant is available, and pleasant staff will look after you, but chair will have to be left outside along the passageway. A ramp can be provided for you, if they are not to busy to find time to help, and that ramp will allow you to get up a step into museum part on ground floor level, but volunteers will have to help, as it’s actually the last part of the tour around house, so will hope others are not coming down stairs to also see this section. We hope you can cope, because although it’s a free visit, it can get busy, but do give it a go, well worth the effort.

Not easy, as steps up into restaurant and last part of a self viewed tour of building, and you certainly will not be able to get upstairs, but along the alley you will see old bits, and toilets are along there.
