Overview

Very spacious holiday centre sleeping 15+. Brilliant facilities for hoist users - a rare find. Lovely town of Aberaeron nearby with accessible harbour walk. Accessible garden a bonus. Whole centre easy to move about with wheelchair including terrace.

Transport & Parking

Parking for 5 cars. Smooth surface to driveway. Approx 2.5 hrs drive from Cardiff.

Access

Access around whole building great. One bedroom with profile bed and electric ceiling (H) hoist. Lovely accessible terrace. Access to walled garden may be a challenge with manual chair but no problem with powerchair or scooter. Large living space with Tables & Sofas.

Toilets

Massive bathroom with hoist to bath, toilet and shower. (hoist not used on this visit) . Shower chair/commode. Adult changing bed (not used). Access under sink and sink taps difficult.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Lovely, level accessible walk around harbour at Aberaeron. Newquay a bit more hilly but can dolphin watch from harbour wall. Steep slope to Newquay beach, best tackled backwards in powerchair! but firm place to sit at back of beach. Look out for Red Kites flying over Ty Glyn! Great for friends or family gatherings. Lots of games provided - snooker table a big hit with teenagers. Ty Glyn hotel/pub approx 500yds but via dark country lane.(see separate review)
